Scott is a skilled senior executive with demonstrated success leading large teams within the electrical, building & construction industries. He began his career in electrical trades before moving into management and leadership roles, enhancing his management skills with an MBA.
Scott has a lengthy track record of leading and growing multiple businesses in challenging high-volume service, sales and contracting environments. Financial skills and commercial acumen are matched with superior interpersonal and communication skills. His success has been achieved by creating and driving a highly motivated, customer-centric culture.
Chairman & Founder of L+O Group
In 1975, Steve and Brian Lesley co-founded a 2-man sub-contracting partnership known as L+O Technologies. Over the past 46 years, the business has grown through Steve’s ambition, vision and skills to become the leading domestic electrical sub-contractors in Australia. He’s achieved this through long-standing affiliations with Victoria’s leading builders and electrical wholesalers.
Steve has served as Chairman since 2006, growing the business which now employs more than 320 staff across 6 locations in Victoria. With over 45 years of experience, Steve takes a vision and makes it a reality through sound strategy development. His capability to see an opportunity and bring it together into a coherent outcome assists others to extend their thinking and drives business advantage.
Scott commenced his career as a 1st-year electrical apprentice with L+O Technologies in 1997. He has continued to develop and grow within the company throughout his career, which has seen him advance through the operational side of the business from electrician to supervisor and operations manager before accepting his current role.
Scott is responsible for leading business operations, executing business strategy and ensuring operational excellence and safety. With over 24 years of experience in the electrical and building construction sector, Scott offers a detailed understanding of operational deliverables. With a partnership approach, Scott focuses on structuring and managing successful enduring commercial relationships for all clients.
Since joining L&O Technologies in 2008 as an electrician, Aaron has applied his knowledge and qualifications to undertake several roles within the organisation. He now leads our West region as General Manager, and is responsible for leading business operations and executing business strategy, as well as ensuring operational excellence and safety.
Specialising in the electrical and construction industry, Aaron enjoys leading teams to provide world-class electrical service. He possesses strong operational and project management skills, as well as an ability to combine his experience in administration, finance and marketing to deliver excellent results. He enjoys passing on his trade skills to the next generation of electricians through our apprenticeship program.
GM Argus Technologies
Robert is an experienced Senior Executive with 25+ years of combined experience spanning multi-channel sales, installation, service and marketing business units throughout the Asia Pacific region and beyond. Robert joined Argus Technologies in 2013, bringing with him his expertise in developing, implementing and managing effective sales, service & installation strategies.
Robert is qualified in the field of electronics engineering and holds multiple industry-recognised certifications with high-level executive experience. He has a leadership style that focuses on creating a high performing team culture along with accountability. Robert thinks strategically with a reputation in developing long term partnerships with customers & vendors alike.
Bhupesh (Bobby) has over 20 years of progressive hands-on experience across a diverse industry base from FMCG through to engineering and construction. Joining in 2007, Bobby is recognised as a true business partner, providing the knowledge, expertise and capability to support growth and change through advanced financial analytics.
Leading the finance team, Bobby is responsible for the development and execution of the Groups financial management strategy, reporting and governance framework and plays a key role in the delivery of the broader strategy for the Group.
GM L+O Environmental
Mike began his career in the building construction supply industry in 1990. He later entered the solar industry where he held senior management positions within industry-leading organisations Rheem and Solahart.
In 2004, Mike co-founded Chromagen Australia where he was responsible for all sales and marketing activity. He now brings more than 30 years of experience to L+O Environmental in his role as General Manager. L+O Environmental is a subsidiary company to the larger L+O Group and is 100% Australian owned.
Human Resources Manager
With a career spanning more than 20 years in HR, safety and business operations, Christine has experience with a wide range of organisational issues and understands how to effect the right change. Chris works closely with managers and the senior leadership team, providing end-to-end HR and OH&S business advice.
Joining the team in 2010, Christine was instrumental in developing and delivering the Groups HR & OH&S business strategy. She is passionate about our people and providing opportunities for them to focus on their strengths and to thrive in an ever-challenging and changing work environment.
